Three Family Law Attorneys from Anton Garcia Law Named as Rising Stars by National Publication
Tampa, FL – National publication Super Lawyers (superlawyers.com) selected three family law attorneys from Anton Garcia Law as Rising Stars. Christina Anton Garcia, Matthew W. Wilson, and Kerstin M. Cochran, marital and family lawyers at Anton Garcia Law, were all selected by Super Lawyers as Rising Stars. Only 5% of attorneys are accepted by Super Lawyers, and only 2.5% are selected as Rising Stars, making this a prestigious designation. This award is only given to attorneys under 40 years of age, or who have been in practice for less than 10 years.
Super Lawyers’ selection process of Rising Star attorneys begins with a nomination by peers, managing partner survey, third party feedback and Super Lawyer’s own research team. Lawyers cannot nominate themselves and are prohibited from campaigning for this award. Once nominated, the evaluation process then includes 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition, including verdicts/settlements, clients, awards, special licenses/certifications, experience, position within the law firm, pro bono work and community service, education, scholarly lectures/writings, and other achievements. Finalists are then subject to a peer evaluation before finally being selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Only 2.5% of attorneys in the state of Florida achieve the Rising Star designation, making it particularly exceptional that three of these attorneys are family lawyers at the Tampa firm Anton Garcia Law.
