Tampa Attorney’s Fees

We Are Here to Provide You The Representation You Deserve

Our Tampa Family Law Attorneys strive to provide the highest level of legal representation to promote your best interests and the best interests of your family as you enter the next chapter of your life.

Attorney’s Fees in Divorce

In Divorce, Attorney’s Fees are typically paid from the marital assets of the couple. This is to ensure that each side is provided an equal opportunity to secure fair and competent legal representation.  More often than not, the consequences of not securing legal representation ends up costing far more than the cost of obtaining representation in your Family Law Case. The Courts will allow parties to pay Attorney’s Fees from a number of different assets, including the sales proceeds from a home, money taken out of a retirement account, as well as most other assets that a couple is able to liquidate.  It is our goal, that it does not come to this, and that we are able to settle your case fairly and promptly.  If you are considering filing for Divorce, or recently have received Divorce papers, we encourage you to reach out to our team of Divorce Attorneys and secure the representation that you deserve.

Contempt Proceedings

The Courts have the authority to order a noncompliant party to pay Attorney’s Fees for a compliant party in litigation in cases that involve Contempt, Modification or Enforcement.  The rationale of the Courts in awarding such fees is, if was not for the misconduct of the noncompliant party, the compliant party would not have had to incur expenses to obtain compliance by the noncompliant party. If you believe that your spouse, former spouse, or your child’s other parent is causing you to suffer a loss due to their misconduct, we encourage you to reach out to our experienced team of Family Law attorneys and see what relief may be available to you.

Paternity Cases

If you are a Mother and are currently looking to establish Paternity, but are worried about the potential financial impact that it may have, there is potential for relief.  Although it is not always guaranteed, the Courts have the authority to order the Father to pay not only Attorney’s Fees, but also medical expenses, hospital expenses, costs incident to the birth of the child, as well as all costs of the Paternity proceeding. You do not need to feel like you are going to have to bear these costs alone. We are here to help you secure the support you deserve and ensure that your Child receives the support he or she is entitled to.

The Cost of Not Securing Counsel

As stated above, the cost of not securing counsel is often more detrimental than the cost of securing counsel. When it comes to your Divorce or Family Law related conflict, you never know what you expect from the opposing party. With our team of lawyers by your side, you can rest knowing that we are passionately advocating for your best interests and securing stability for your future.
