Family law attorney Christina Anton Garcia recently volunteered at the Quantum Leap Farm on June 29th, 2013. Quantum Leap Farm is a charity located in Odessa, FL that was founded in 2000 to serve civilians and veterans with mental and physical disabilities, ranging from 2 to 92 years of age. Disabilities include: wounds of war, traumatic brain injury, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, stroke, muscular dystrophy, Down Syndrome, Autism and cerebral palsy. Quantum Leap Farm provides therapeutic horseback riding, carriage driving, equine assisted behavioral health services and a variety of equine experiential learning programs. Additionally, the charity offers opportunities for individuals, students and/or organizations to conduct community service projects, accumulate community service hours, and host a variety of family and corporate functions.
